Printing this and wheatpasting it to the sign at the dock tonight. Too many people bringing their children to the waterfront with loaves of bread, even though there’s already a sign asking folks not to feed the waterfowl because their crap on the sidewalks decreases property value for the area. Maybe they will listen if they know they’re hurting the animals and not just the city.

Tiger Quoll (Dasyurus maculatus)

Also known as the Spotted-tail Quoll, Spotted Quoll or Spotted-tailed Dasyure, the Tiger Quoll is a species of carnivorous marsupial found throughout Eastern Australia and Tasmania. Quolls like other carnivorous marsupials are opportunistic feeders and have a wide diet of arthropods, insects, small reptiles, birds, mammals, platypus, marsupials, wombats and other animals. They are also known to scavenge large animals once and awhile. Tiger Quolls are ambush hunters and stalk their prey and will either pin the prey and then bite it or go right for the neck depending on the prey items size is. Tiger quolls are currently listed as endangered as habitat destruction and competition have hurt their population.
